Christmas came early for me. Santa slid down my chimney on November 6^th, 2024. That’s the day America chose to turn the page from the corrupt and sclerotic Democratic Party rule, toward something different. And now things are going to change.

              What is that something? Well, President Trump 2.0, for starters. What will that mean? I’ll bet a vigorous reopening of the economy, an all-out reform of our uncontrolled bureaucratic and regulatory administrative—or “Deep State,” Tough-On-Crime polices including the crime of illegal migration, and a strong swing back to “normal” values. The most important one is the Revolt of the Normies.

              SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Toward the end of October, I got a strong feeling that it was like 1980: we were stuck, with an ineffective President, a static economy, inflation, ominous foreign affairs, and general…wait for it…malaise. But imagine it’s October, 1980. A guy comes and says “I’m from your near future, and I’ll say something you won’t understand now: MICHAEL JACKSON VIDEOS ON MTV.”

              –In other words, there’s a whole fabulous world waiting to be born and you’re going to see it soon. The world will be different, open and energetic. It’ll be a riot of colors and sounds, and new technology you can barely imagine. The art will be confident, pioneering new forms. A whole universe of possibilities will unfold before your eyes.

              –You’ll look back on sad old shabby 1980 like you will those photos of you in sideburns and bellbottoms, polyester and clunky clogs. The future is going to be fun. 1980: “what’s a Personal Computer?” 1983: “wanna play Tetris?”

              THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS WHAT’S COMING. With the corrupt, stagnant Democrat Party out of the drivers’ seat, and it’s me-too Repubs hopefully scared straight, we can unleash our economy and energy policy. Instead of hobbling us with expensive, unproductive Green Energy (provided by people with Friends in High Places) we can have reliable cheap power that works.

              –And speaking of energy: the most important source is human energy, and we can unleash that too. It’s natural: just get the hell out of people’s way. Prying the rent-seeking regulations off and tossing them away will empower people you never heard of to do things you can’t imagine.  We have the tools: AI alone will boost in every way you can think of and many you can’t.

              –As for Foreign Affairs, the bad guys: Russia, North Korea, Iran and its buddies, are against the wall already. So is the People’s Republic of China, they just don’t want you to know it. Like 1980, our fundamental principle should be: “We Win, They Lose.” And in 10 years we had, they had; and so will these guys.

              –So be excited and glad for our 2024 Christmas present. We’re still going to have to fight the crooked static regime, but it’s a future worth winning for.
